The Miracles of our Prophet (saas)

The Prophet Jonah’s (as) was mi rac u lous ly
saved aft er be ing swal lowed by a whale:

Yunus was one of the Messengers. When he ran away to the
ful ly lad en ship and cast lots and lost, then the fish de -
voured him and he was to blame. Had he not been a per son
who glo ri fied Allah, he would have re mained in side its bel -
ly un til the Day of Resurrection. So We cast him up on to the
beach and he was sick. (Surat al-Saffat: 139-145)
