Species of bacteria come in very different forms. Some prefer oxygen-rich environ-
ments, while other, so-called anerobic ones survive in oxygen-free ones. Some cre-
ate their own food by means of photosynthesis, while others obtain nutrients by

metabolisms may exhibit considerable differences.
