Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obe-
dient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be
peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all
                     men. (Titus 3:1-2)
Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you . . . should restore him
gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Galatians
                     6:1)
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only
what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that
it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29)

                     Torah

By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue break
                     the bone. (Proverbs 25:15)
The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the
lips increase learning. (Proverbs 16: 21)

TO REPEL A BAD ACTION WITH SOMETHING

                                         BETTER

A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the
bad with something better and, if there is enmity between
you and someone else, he will be like a bosom friend.
                     (Surah Fussilat, 34)
