264 The Glad Tidings of the Messiah (pbuh)
[People of intelligence are] those who are steadfast in
seeking the face of their Lord, perform prayer and give
from the provision We have given them, secretly and
openly, and stave off evil with good, it is they who will
have the Ultimate Abode. (Surat ar-Ra'd, 22)
Gospel
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing,
because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
(1 Peter 3:9)
... Warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be
patient with everyone. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for
wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.
