As we have already seen, the real aim of the separatist PKK ter-
rorist organization is to establish a communist regime, first in Turkey
and then the rest of the world. All communists regard the communist
regime that was set up in Russia, but that subsequently collapsed, as a

failed attempt. They believe that since the Russian Revolution failed in
its aim of making the whole world communist there is still some mat-
ter of unfinished business to be completed. What they essentially say is
this; "We are communists. We have declared a holy war on God, reli-
gion and spiritual things (may God forbid). We hold Marxist-Leninist
and materialist views. It is true that Russian communists failed to rule
the world, but we will do that. We will complete the unfinished busi-
ness." Therefore, their true aim in demanding an autonomous state is
not to be able to live in peace, to raise families and settle down, to live

with their mothers and never leave them, to drink soup or to enjoy
some fine spring weather among the flowers in the park. If they do
establish the communist autonomous state they seek, then the first
thing communist militants do will be to split families up and establish
