This is a very dangerous plan, not only for our Kurdish citizens but
for the whole of the Middle East. It would no doubt end in bloodshed.

Therefore, it is vitally important to constantly bear all these perils in
mind during these negotiations.
The building of a Turkish-Islamic Union is a cause that the
Republic of Turkey can never renounce. The sole objective in the

scope of this ideal is to become strong and build a great union along
the lines of the European Union, not fragmentation
and division. When this objective is made a
reality not only Kurds, but also Turks,
Laz people, Abkhazians, Circassians
and all the peoples who comprise
the country and all the peoples of

the region will enjoy peace, tran-
quility, ease and comfort.
