Both the ummah's good and wicked members will be blessed with a
blessing, the like of which they have never seen before. Despite the abun-
dance of rain, not a drop will go to waste. The land will grow fruitful
and fertile, without demanding a single seed... (Ibn Hajar al-Haythami,
                  Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi 'Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 23.)

                70. The speaking of voices by means of a "whip":

The Last Hour will not come be fore the end of a man's whip speaks to
                  him. (Tirmidhi)
In an cient times, the whip was wide ly used while rid ing sad dle beasts,
es pe cial ly cam els and hors es. In this had ith, the Prophet (may Allah bless
him and grant him peace) is mak ing a com par i son. Thus, "What speak ing

                  (Mukhtasar Tazkirah al-Qurtubi, p. 471.)

The mes sage here is quite clear: A per son's hear ing his own voice is
a char ac ter is tic of the End Times. For this to be come a re al i ty, one's voice
must first be re cord ed. Such re cord ing and re pro duc tion tech nol o gy was
