                                                               The seascape we
                                                               watch on a sunny
                                                               day is merely an
                                                               image formed by
                                                               electrical signals
                                                              transmitted to the
                                                             brain. We can never
                                                         have direct experience of
                                                        the external original of the
                                                             images we perceive.
