display fools dogs, cats, snakes, and even other birds. Several

this way. For example, when a predator approaches her duck-
lings, a mother duck pretends to be wounded and unable
to fly by fluttering her wings. But she always keeps her
distance from the attacker. When the hunter is far
enough away from the ducklings hidden on the
shore, she immediately flies off and returns
