rations -that were probably added later to Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi's works -

provide important 'elbowroom and camouflage' for hypocrites wanting to dam-
age Islam by masquerading as Muslims. There have always been some people with
hypocritical character, who tried to degenerate Islam by defending ideologies that

attribute equals to God in every period of history. In our century such people use

the explanations in Masnawi that are contradictory to the Qur'an for this purpose.

These people who 'bear the name Muslim' but 'do not consider themselves
as Muslims' defend these views and beliefs that are incompatible with the moral

values of Islam 'supposedly in the name of religion', by giving reference to

Rumi's works and thoughts.

It is a very serious 'danger' that people are trying to ascribe certain notions
and attitudes not in line with the moral values of the Qur'an to Muslim beliefs. For
this reason, it is extremely important to 'divulge the falsity of any philosophy that

is totally incompatible with Islam'.

been deluded by their religion,'
meaning, 'religion has swayed them
to the wrong path.' They believe that
their own snobbish mentality is right.
Therefore when we look at hyp-
ocrites, we see they are trying to

make Muslims follow 'Darwinist' ide-
ology and become 'homosexuals.'
They try to make them adherents of
'Rumi. 'My brother, the Qur'an is suf-

ficient for us. Homosexuality is a ter-

ribly indecent act. As revealed by

Almighty God, it is a 'a loathsome
thing.' Muslims would never approve

of such an evil path. These are the
