66 L LOVE IN THE TORAH
GOD LOVES THOSE WHO
ARE HONEST
Solomon answered, “You have shown great kindness to Your servant, my
father David, because he was faithful to You and righteous and upright
in heart...” (1 Kings, 3:6)
The Lord detests those whose hearts are perverse, but He delights in those
whose ways are blameless. (Proverbs,11:20)
For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; the upright will see His face.
(Psalm, 11:7)
Because of my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence for-
ever. (Psalm, 41:12)
The Lord loves righteousness and justice... (Psalm, 33:5)
… but the Lord upholds the righteous. The blameless spend their days
under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever. (Psalm,
37:17-18)
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows fa-
vor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from
those whose walk is blameless. (Psalm, 84:11)
The salvation of the righteous comes from the
Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trou-
ble. The Lord helps them and delivers them;
He delivers them from the wicked and saves
them, because they take refuge in Him.
(Psalm, 37:33, 39-40)
