WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
Oh, that their hearts would be in clined to fear Me and keep
all My com mands al ways, so that it might go well with them
and their chil dren for ev er! (Deuteronomy, 5:29)

wives feared God, He gave them fam i lies of their own. (Exo-

man was blame less and up right; he feared God and shunned

Who, then, is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct
him in the way chosen for him. He will spend his days in pros-

... You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of
the Lord. (2 Chronicles, 19:9)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge...
(Proverbs, 1:7)
Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am
the Lord your God. (Leviticus, 25:17)
If you fear the Lord and serve and obey Him and do not rebel
against His commands... But be sure to fear the Lord and
