Ha run Yah ya (Ad nan Ok tar)
... The people feared the Lord and put their trust in Him and
in Moses His servant. (Exodus, 14:31)
It [a copy of this law] is to be with him, and he is to read it all
the days of his life so that he may learn to fear the Lord his
God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these
decrees and not consider himself better than his brothers and
turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his
descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.
(Deuteronomy, 17:19-20)
For the fear of God kept me back, and because of His power
I might not do such things. (Job, 31:23)
Is not your fear of God your confidence, you're your upright
way of life your hope? (Job, 4:6)
The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear
the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper...
(Deuteronomy, 6:24)
But the earlier governors—those preceding me—placed a
heavy burden on the people... Their assistants also lorded it
over the people. But I did not so because of the fear of God.
(Nehemiah, 5:15)
Now let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Judge carefully, for
with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or
bribery... Jehoshaphat... gave them these orders: "You must
serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord."
