Ha run Yah ya (Ad nan Ok tar)
Fear the Lord your God and serve Him. Hold fast to Him and
take your oaths in His name. (Deuteronomy, 10:20)
So if you faith ful ly obey the com mands I am giv ing you to -
day—to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all
your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy, 11:13)
It is the Lord your God you must fol low, and Him you must
re vere. Keep His com mands and obey Him; serve Him and
hold fast to Him. (Deuteronomy, 13:4)
But You are a shield around me, O Lord; You be stow glo ry
on me and lift up my head. (Psalms, 3:3)
My shield is God Most High, Who saves the up right in heart.
(Psalms, 7:10)
I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord,
make me dwell in safe ty. (Psalms, 4:8)
... for I hide my self in You. Teach me to do Your will, for You
are my God... (Psalms, 143:9-10)
Let us ac knowl edge the Lord; let us press on to ac knowl edge
Him. (Hosea, 6:3)
The Lord says: "These peo ple come near to Me with their
mouth and hon or Me with their lips, but their hearts are far
from Me...." (Isaiah, 29:13)
This is what the Lord says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who de pends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns
away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in the waste lands; he
will not see pros per i ty when it comes..." (Jeremiah, 17:5-6)
