WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
Lord my God commanded me, so that you may follow them
in the land you are entering to take possession of it. Observe
them carefully... (Deuteronomy, 4:4-6)
But cleave to the Lord your God, as you have been till this
day. (Joshua, 23:8)
Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to
the Lord. (Lamentations, 3:40)
Because Abraham obeyed Me and kept My requirements, My
commands, My decrees and My laws. (Genesis, 26:5)
He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked will be si-
lenced in darkness. It is not by strength that one prevails. (1
Samuel, 2:9)
To the faithful You show Yourself faithful. With the perfect
man you will show yourself perfect. (2 Samuel, 22:26)
"O Lord... You Who keep Your covenant of love with Your
servants who continue wholeheartedly in Your way." (1
Kings, 8:23)
... May Your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation,
may Your saints rejoice in Your goodness. (2 Chronicles,
6:41)
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives
of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the
wicked. (Psalms, 97:10)
Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness. (Jos-
hua, 24:14)
