WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing
can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so
that men will revere Him. (Ecclesiastes, 3:14)
The Excitement and Joy of Faith
Be glad... re joice in the Lord your God. (Joel, 2:23)
... I de sire to do Your will, O my God; Your law is with in my
heart. (Psalms, 40:8)

rich es. I med i tate on Your pre cepts and con sid er Your ways.
I de light in Your de crees; I will not ne glect Your word.
(Psalms, 119:14-16)
... The Lord your God is test ing you to find out wheth er you
love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
(Deuteronomy, 13:3)
Many are the woes of the wick ed, but the Lord's un fail ing love
sur rounds the man who trusts in Him. Rejoice in the Lord
and be glad, you right eous; sing, all you who are up right in
heart! (Psalms, 32:10-11)
... I keep Your pre cepts with all my heart. Their hearts are cal -
lous and un feel ing, but I de light in Your law... The law from
Your mouth is more pre cious to me than thou sands of pie ces
of sil ver and gold. (Psalms, 119:69-72)
