WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE FROM THE TORAH
wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that
full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was
made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the
depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the
days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of
them came to be. (Psalms, 139:13-16)
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all
these? He Who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls
them each by name. Because of His great power and mighty
strength, not one of them is missing... The Lord is the ever-
lasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not
grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fath-
om. (Isaiah, 40:26-28)
Others went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on
the mighty waters. They saw the works of the Lord, His won-
derful deeds in the deep. (Psalms, 107:23-24)
This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, Who formed
you in the womb: I am the Lord, Who has made all things,
Who alone stretched out the heavens, Who spread out the
earth by Myself... (Isaiah, 44:24)
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember
Your miracles of long ago. I will meditate on all Your works
and consider all Your mighty deeds. (Psalms, 77:11-12)
