into dawn and darkens day into night, Who calls for the wa-
ters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land—
the Lord is His name. (Amos, 5:8)

God's Bestowal of the Human Soul

But it is the spir it in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that
gives him un der stand ing. (Job, 32:8)

The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty
gives me life. (Job, 33:4)

Remember Him be fore... the dust re turns to the ground it
came from, and the spir it re turns to God Who gave it. (Eccle-
siastes, 12:7)

This is what God the Lord says—He Who cre at ed the heav ens
and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and all that
comes out of it, Who gives breath to its peo ple, and life to
those who walk on it. (Isaiah, 42:5)
