For I, the Lord, love jus tice; I hate rob bery and in iq ui ty... (Isa-
iah, 61:8)
But from ev er last ing to ev er last ing the Lord's love is with
those who fear Him, and His right eous ness with their chil -
dren's chil dren. [For those who abide by, are loyal to, God's
commandments.]. (Psalms, 103:17-18)
Yet the Lord longs to be gra cious to you; He ris es to show you
com pas sion. For the Lord is a God of jus tice. Blessed are all
who wait for Him! (Isaiah, 30:18)
... His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful
God Who does no wrong, upright and just is He. (Deutero-
nomy, 32:4)
In all that has happened to us, You have been just; You have
acted faithfully, while we did wrong. (Nehemiah, 9:33)
... Everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the Lord, love justice ...
(Isaiah, 61:7-8)
This is what the Lord says: "Let not the wise man boast of his
wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man
boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that
he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, Who exer-
cises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in the-
se I delight," declares the Lord. (Yeremiah, 9:23-24)
But, O Lord Almighty, You Who judge righteously and test
the heart and mind... for to You I have committed my cause.
(Jeremiah, 11:20)
