PORTENTS AND FEATURES OF THE MAHDI'S COMING

        One of the por tents of his appear ance is, as stat ed
        before, the bur i al of an army in the desert.

        When a shep herd see ing an army mov ing across the
        desert on a bright night says: "It will be a sad ness for
        Makkah. Woe will befall them," he will see the army sud -
        den ly dis ap pear. He will say: "Subhan Allah. How did
        they dis ap pear so quick ly?" When he goes down and
        looks, he will see a blan ket half under the ground and
        half out. He will try to extract it. But when he can not, he
        will real ize that the army he saw has been bur ied…

         14) STOPPING THE FLOW OF THE EUPHRATES
         The block ing and stop ping of the Euphrates' water is
       anoth er por tent:

        One of the por tents of the Mahdi's com ing is the stop -
        ping of the Euphrates.
