derstand the truth, and to abide by what his conscience guides him to-
wards. However, this danger must in no way be ignored.
The history of Christianity also reveals the great ideological con-
flicts caused by the idea of the Trinity, which have come down to our
own day. It is impossible for a righteous creed to be the source of such
great conflicts and tribulations. It is possible that to date, some
Christians have not properly assessed the dimensions of this danger.
It is likely that they are simply trying to uphold a false belief inherited
from their forefathers, assuming that it is commanded in the Gospel.
However, this is a belief definitely contrary to God’s command. When
they consider the Gospel in a rational way and refer to their con-
science, and see the tribulations caused by a superstitious belief, they
will understand this better. Consequently, we call on genuine
Christians to take refuge in God, to think without indoctrination root-
ed in Christianity and to make their decision with their purest of con-
science.
