Those to whom people said: “The people have gathered
against you, so fear them.” But that merely increased their
faith, and they said: “Allah is enough for us and the Best of
Guardians.” (Surah Al ‘Imran, 3:173)
Taking Allah as their guardian has always resulted in their vic-
tory. The related verses read:
So they returned with blessings and bounty from Allah,
and no evil touched them. They pursued the pleasure of
Allah. Allah’s favor is indeed immense. (Surah Al ‘Imran,
3:174)
Lord of the East and West—there is no deity but Him—so
take Him as your Guardian. (Surat al-Muzzammil, 73:9)
Say: “Nothing can happen to us except what Allah has or-
dained for us. He is Our Master. It is in Allah that the be-
lievers should put their trust.” (Surat at-Tawba, 9:51)
