nal in Twentieth Century), Güneş (Sun), Havran, Mecmua-ı Ulüm (Journal

of Knowledge), Saadet (Happiness), Afak (The Horizon) and Felsefe (Philoso-
phy), contributed to promulgation of the evolution lie in the Empire. Con-

sequently, the Ottoman society suffered a swift moral decline.
