f I were the author, I will be careful not to copy any top-
I ics from any journal or articles. If I want to take some

ideas from them, I will paraphrase the sentences and not
forget to cite them. I will also do proofread a few times
just to make sure everything is properly cited with the correct
source and author in my research paper. At the end of the pa-
per, I will include a list of references by following the guidelines
set by the institution. To be more aware of plagiarism, I will use
an online plagiarism checker to scan through the whole re-
search paper before submitting. This is to ensure that I did not
plagiarize anything from other authors and make sure that my
research paper is ethically written. As plagiarism is still hap-
pening often around us, I suggest that authorities can take
stricter action against those who are unethical in their work.
For example, authorities can consider revoking the access for
them to publish any paper for five to ten years, or even impose
a hefty fine. Law has to be enforced to reduce the amount of
plagiarism happening around us. Talks or campaigns must be
held to remind researchers not to plagiarize others and must be
ethical in what they do.
