MM17: DCU + MEU architecture

 What will happen when the MEU is connected to DCU?

- Navigation & applications (InCar: eStore, Coyote…)

- Online services, TMC and Wi-Fi is enabled
- Voice Recognition (VR) is carried over to the MEU
- Voice guidance Text-To-Speech (TTS) is handled by the MEU

- TTS for message (SMS, E-mail) read out remains at the DCU X

- GPS antenna moves over to the MEU

- None of the DCU-functions are transferred (ref. USB, BT)

- MEU draws only the navigation-, applications- and related interfaces

- Updating DCU, MEU or taking the DCU MM-log does not require removal of any system
- Nor repositioning the USB-connector
- Less complex to troubleshoot

• If you disconnect MEU for testing also disconnect +B from DCU for > 1 minute

• Please do not claim MEU-updates to the DCU
