[DCU] Bluetooth: Email/Messages

 Email:

- Not supported on iPhone

- Requires a compatible phone supporting Bluetooth “MAP” (Message Access Profile)

- Requires a compatible AND configured email application (for example “Samsung Mail”)

- Does not work with Gmail

Galaxy S7 with Galaxy S7 with “Samsung Mail” configured
“Gmail”
 Text Messages not working: iPhone Android

- iPhone: “Show Notifications” must be enabled
 Older iPhones have this default disabled
 After toggling the “Show Notification” state an ACC cycle is required

 With iPhone you cannot send a reply via the DCU
- Android: Allow access to messages during the pairing process
 Can be set in Bluetooth paired device details as well.
