HYBRID4 NMT – Multimedia (MM17) – Troubleshooting
[DCU] Damaged Power and Tune Knobs

 No need to replace the complete DCU

 Symptom:

- The knob is recessed into the front panel

- The knob cannot be pushed inwards

- The knob rotates or wobbles loosely around the axis

- The knob functions do not work anymore
 Repair:

- Pull off the faulty knob without prying, the knob should come off without using any tools

- Clean out any residual plastic fragments

- Confirm that the axis does not mechanically wobble

- Open the “Panel & Steering Switch Check Mode” menu

- Push and rotate the bare axis to verify each action in the diagnostic screen
- Replace the knob
