Diagnosis

• How do I know which part is faulty?

• Torque converter symptoms ….

- Sluggish to pull away from start up to approx. 25/30 mph,
then performs normally = Stator sprag clutch faulty

- Pulls away from start normally then becomes sluggish

above 25/30 mph = Stator seized

- Remedy = Replace Torque converter
