Lingzhi Knot
This is called a lingzhi knot because of its close resemblance to the lingzhi good luck
fungus. It combines the technique of knotting a good luck knot with compound outer
loops with that of the cloverleaf knot. The three cloverleaf knots sit nicely on the
small outer loops set within the bigger outer loops. They make the knot look more
elegant and prevent the smaller outer loops from working loose.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Before tying the good luck knot with compound outer loops, tie the cloverleaf knots
on the ear loops. Then follow the steps in the knotting technique of the good luck
knot with compound outer loops (see page 84).
