Regional events
These events are specific to your region and are
driven by the regional leadership team – the
volunteer Regional Leaders, with assistance from
the Hub Leader and the Regional Manager.
The regional workshops and events can take on
many different forms and scale such as on-farm
technical workshops, site visits, wellbeing events,
social dinners, guest speakers, movie nights – the list
is endless.
Over the years it has been shown by many regional
teams around the country that confidence and
leadership has grown in teams that deliver events
that they have total ownership over, which are in
response to their assessment of their region’s needs.
The challenge of bringing together a creative,
well-planned, fully promoted and professionally
delivered event leads to strengthening of a regional
team, building better relationships through
connection and growth of the Regional Leaders.
Regional events are an ideal way to build strong
relationships with commercial and industry partners
in your region.
Small social events – cuppa and a chat
Never under-estimate the importance of a catch up
over a coffee at a local café or Farm Source store.
Providing a low-key connection, sometimes on a
monthly or regular basis, these events bring our
members together and provide a valuable social
resource.
