erend Bryan, referred to frequently in the stories, was the
rector of Kings Cliffe between 1955 and 1985. He had a keen
interest in local history and did significant searches through the
local papers for information on Kings Cliffe.

Illustrations are generally from Kings Cliffe Heritage archives.

obtain permission for their use where possible. If there is an
inadvertent omission then we would appreciate that the owner
