You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and
female, to keep them alive with you.

A neighbour said:
“He was a peaceable and family man, who never caused a fuss.
He kept himself just to himself, and was so polite to us.
I know he was a faithful man,
I know he walked a-right,
But then he went and built that boat, when God just said “because....””
His wife said:
“I knew he was a working man, a farmer through and through
He put food on the table, which was mostly stuff he grew.
I loved him as a faithful man
I loved he walked a-right,
But then he went and built a boat, saying “God knows what to do”!”
His sons said:
“Dad was quite a careful man, who did things by the book
He taught us to be humble, ‘cos he started shovelling muck
He lived life as a faithful man
He lived his life a-right
But then he went and built a boat, saying “God will flood the brook”!”
The papers said:
“Crazy farmer, cracking up, says climate change will come
He thinks he needs to save the world, we think he’s pretty dumb! He says he’s being faithful, man!
He says he’s doing right!
But now he’s started on his ark, and the sky looks kind of glum
The animals said:
“Noah seems the kind of man that animals don’t fear
We’ve seen the dark clouds overhead, and so we’re staying near God told us he’s a faithful man
God said he’ll see us right
And now that he has built a boat, he’s saying “Come in here”!”
God said:
“Noah is a righteous man, who walks as I’ve foretold Listens to what I have said, then does it, good as gold I’ve seen that he’s a faithful man
