P. 11
I know he does what’s right
He’s built my ark, for kith and kin, creation in the hold
So listen to this ancient tale, and think hard what it means I will not let the faithful go, although I swell the streams
I love the things that I have made,
The righteous when they’ve prayed
I have a plan to save the world, that’s based on wooden beams
The giant ark can save a few, one family and some beasts
My son, on earth, will save you all, though he’ll be thought the least He is mercy, but in human form
My love, to calm the storm
He came to earth, from Noah’s line, to be the perfect priest
Greet him, love him, worship him He came to bear your sin
A saviour on a wooden cross, Death no more has its sting
Praise him, trust him, look on him He goes to make a place
My son, the Christ, Emmanuel He saves you all by grace”
