the Ring Road and follow any signs that say London or Marlborough.

The Wallops.
This curiously named huddle of quintessential English villages is worth a potter about if you have
the time. The name comes from the Saxon word “weaella” meaning water, and “hop”, meaning
valley. The water valley.
Nether Wallop with its thatched cottages hugging narrow lanes was the location for BBC series
“Miss Marple”, a tv adaptation of the Agatha Christie novels.
To visit Nether Wallop turn r. in the middle of the village on to Farley St. Follow Farley St to
Nether Wallop.
Expert navigator tip: Look for the George Inn on you left as you make that turn.
