                                      Juicy Oven Baked Chicken Breast


                                                           Serves 6



                                      Four 7‐8 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breasts

                                                    2 teaspoons olive oil


                                                3 tablespoons brown sugar

                                                 1 tablespoon chili powder

                                                 1 teaspoon parsley flakes

                                                     1/2 teaspoon salt

                                                1/2 teaspoon black pepper

                                                1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

                                                1/2 teaspoon onion powder

                                                    1/2 teaspoon cumin



                      1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

                      2. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray.

                      3. Place the chicken between two sheets of parchment paper and pound to

                         an even thickness.

                      4. Drizzle both sides of chicken with olive oil.

                      5. Combine seasonings and sprinkle generously over both sides of chicken.

                      6. Bake for 20 minutes. Internal temperature should be 165 degrees. If
                         chicken breasts are smaller reduce cook time to 18 minutes. If larger,

                         increase cook time to 22 minutes.

                      7. Remove  from  oven  and  cover  loosely  with  foil  for  5  minutes  before
                         slicing.
