Sue’s Lasagna
9 lasagna noodles, cooked
1‐3/4 can of tomato paste
Water or chicken stock to add moisture to sauce as needed
1 pound cooked browned hamburger
1 teaspoon Sugar or to taste
1 teaspoon Basil or to taste
1 teaspoon Oregano or to taste
1/2 teaspoon each Salt and Pepper or to taste
1/4 cup Onion diced
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder or to taste
About 3 oz. Cream Cheese
1 small container Cottage Cheese
Grated Parmesan Cheese to sprinkle between layers
1 pounded grated cheese
1 whole ball fresh Mozzarella Cheese, sliced
1. Put tomato paste, water or stock, cooked hamburger, sugar, basil oregano, salt, pepper,
onions, garlic powder and cream cheese in a pot. Mix and cook to make the sauce.
2. Spread small amount of sauce on the bottom of lasagna pan to cover bottom.
3. Put 3 noodles on top.
4. Spread sauce on top of noodles.
5. Add small spoonfuls of cottage cheese, parmesan, Grated cheese and fresh Mozzarella.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 two more times.
7. Top with small amount of sauce, grated cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
8. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, uncover and bake until cheese bubbles.
