Paul Gives Earl an Impromptu Driving Lesson

“I was about 15 or 16 and Paul and I were going to pick up our paychecks and he was driving. He said, “Do you want

to drive?” and I said, “Yeah I’ll drive,” but I didn’t know nothing about driving. He had an old car that you had to
turn the steering wheel all the way around before it would turn. He said come on over here. He climbed in the back
and I scooted over while the car was still going. We were probably going 50 miles per hour.“
