ABSTRACT
After a few weeks of discussing to get a suitable title, we finally agreed to do a study on
HDPE plastic. We feel lucky to be able to carry out a study on recycled items which we all
know, to eliminate plastic takes hundreds of years to be eliminated. This is important in our
observation because we want to reduce the rate of used waste disposal. As is known, the
waste disposal rate in our country shows an increase from year to year. While the objective of
our research is to produce HDPE plastic mixed drain cover with plastic content rate at 15
percent %, 20%, 25% and 30% in the mixture and compare the drain cover tensile
measurements with different plastic percentage rates. How is it implemented? We have used
a manual approach that is cooking HDPE plastic with sand and also mixed with resin with
detailed measurements unt uk emphasizes more HDPE plastic.The results we get are various
based on the percentages placed on the HDPE plastic as well as the resin.In conclusion, we
think 25% percentage is the best for implemented product because this percentage has
compressive strength, no more and not less.
