3.7.2 Traditional constructions
In this paragraph the cost calculation are given for the reconstruction of a damaged road. The
calculations are based on the unit prices given in paragraph 3.7.1. The construction of the
traditional construction is divided in 6 steps:
- Step 1: Excavation and preparation.
- Step 2: Leveling and pre-compaction.
- Step 3: Applying Sub-grade material.
- Step 4: Applying Sub-base material.
- Step 5: Applying Base-course material.
- Step 6: Applying Wearing course.

In appendix 4 the cost calculation is given for the steps. The total costs are presented in tables
3.14 to table 3.18 and are the construction costs summarized per Road type.
