I originally met Jack in 1990 at a conference. I
knew he was special and brought him to the
university I was working at to train leaders. Then I
didn’t see him again. I was delighted and happy for
him when he became a household name not even
three years later with his Chicken Soup for the
Soul book series. Then in August of 2014, we
reconnected at one of his workshops. My life has
not been the same since.
Helping others has always been my passion and
drive for everything I’ve accomplished. Taking an
approach to my personal and professional life,
which are intricately intermingled, I am always
mindful that I am dealing with individuals and
families, not just a number or statistic to help me
reach a goal. Because of this, I am able to offer more
meaningful services and develop wonderful
relationships. I have been a teacher, counselor, and
director of a University Wellness Center, where my
team developed a model wellness program for
campuses nationwide. Seeing ways to put together
ideas that are impactful and people-oriented is a
natural fit for me. As life evolved and my callings
changed, I gravitated toward real estate. It was
another area in which I felt the way I connected
