was when I was an educator at a university. Gram

had visited my Developmental Psychology class
and spoke to the students. There she was, as

beautiful as could be at 80+ years of age and

connecting with these younger students. They
adored her! By the end of our class, Gram had been

voted best guest speaker on student evaluations.

We were all inspired! I remember thinking, it’s the

stories of our lives that can help people and guide
us to the opportunities that get us closer to

reaching our life’s purpose - one step at a time.
