Percentage of courses which adopt a SCL method as at year of evaluation.
Notes:
1. SCL is an approach to learning in which learners choose not only what to study but also how
and why.
2. The SCL method includes Case Studies, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and Inquiry-Based
Learning, and Cooperative Learning as stipulated in the course syllabus 65
3. Only core and elective courses of each programme are taken into account
Calculation formula = (Total number of courses using SCL method) / (Total number of
undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by all academic programmes (excluding
research-based programmes) in a School) x 100
