Subsequent to Report No.3, published 31st March 2020, the

Karingani Founding Partners continue to undertake extensive
research into establishing categories of measurement that

extend Karingani’s influence on making a difference to the

flora, fauna and neighbouring communities. The following

chapters measure Karingani’s performance against the 10
guiding principles of One Planet. It is to be noted that this

report year was dominated by the Global COVID-19 pandemic

which delayed and hindered many reserve activities.

RESERVE MANAGEMENT

To augment the current business plan, four management control documents including the development of a more
robust and detailed emergency management plan driven by the need to address the COVID-19 pandemic have been
published, namely:

HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION CONSTITUTION

The Homeowner’s Association Constitution was signed by the Partners on 24th July 2019. This Constitution continues
to guide the Founders’ vision and steer the operational framework for Karingani. This Constitution also establishes
protocol for new parties, investors and tourism operators.
