KARINGANI PREDATOR HOLDING BOMA
During the reporting period, Karingani held wildlife in its predator holding boma four times equaling the boma being
occupied for 108 days. All four events were assisting other groups through collaborative conservation projects. Two
events were lions causing human-wildlife conflict in communities not within the Karingani neighbouring community
area and two events were part of carnivore re-introduction projects for spotted hyenas into Zinave National Park and
African wild dogs into Malawi.
