Introducing Yeovil Town FC Squad
1 Will Buse - Buse, who was born and raised in Yeovil, initially arrived on loan from Bristol
City to bolster the goalkeeping department at Huish Park. Having enjoyed experience within
the non-league ranks, with spells at Dorchester and Taunton, Buse provided strong
competition Grant Smith in his first season at the club. In the summer of 2023, Buse signed
on a permanent basis, signing a two-year deal.
2 Morgan Williams - Morgan Williams began his football career in the youth system of
Nottingham Forest but was released at under-15 level. After some time away from the game,
he joined Mickleover Sports' youth team in September 2016. Williams made his senior debut
for Coventry City on 12 September 2018 and later had loan spells at Yeovil Town before
signing permanently with the National League side in May 2021 on a two-year deal.
3 Alex Whittle - Alex Whittle started his football career at Liverpool but was released in
early 2011. He joined Dunfermline Athletic in April 2012 and later played for various clubs,
including Forest Green Rovers and York City, before signing for Yeovil Town in July 2023.
5 Jamie Sendles-White - Jamie Sendles-White began his football career at Queens Park
Rangers, signing his first professional contract in January 2012 and having loan spells at
Colchester United and Mansfield Town. He later played for Hamilton Academical, Swindon
Town, Leyton Orient, St Albans City, Torquay United, Crawley Town, Aldershot Town, and
Maidenhead United before signing for Welling United in March 2022, where he became the
captain and helped save the club from relegation. In the summer of 2023, Sendles-White
joined Yeovil Town.
6 Jake Wannell – Jake Wannell, a tall and commanding defender, joined Yeovil Town in
June 2023. He started his career in the Exeter City Academy and had loan spells at
Chippenham Town, Dorchester Town, and Poole Town in the Southern League. After
successful stints with Weymouth and Salisbury City, he moved to Taunton Town, where he
played a key role in their promotion from the Southern League and contributed to 19 clean
sheets in their first season in the National League South.
7 Jordan Stevens - Jordan Stevens arrived at Huish Park, and after a blustering start, saw
his first campaign ended with an injury. With a strong CV which included a number of
appearances for Leeds in the Championship, Stevens departed Elland Road prior to the
2021/22 season where he joined Barrow. Following an 18-month spell in Cumbria, the
midfielder joined Yeovil in March 2023.
8 Matthew Worthington - The longest serving Glover, Matt Worthington has well over 100
Yeovil appearances to his name. Having joined permanently in 2019 after a successful loan
spell the year before, Worthington has been an ever present since Yeovil returned to the
National League. Wearing the no.8 on his back, Worthington is an energetic component of
the Yeovil Town midfield. Following the arrival of Mark Cooper, he has been one of the first
names in the Yeovil side, signing a two-year deal in May 2023.
9 Jake Hyde - Hyde signed for Yeovil Town in the Summer of 2023 as part of Mark Cooper’s
rejuvenated squad following relegation to the National League South. His prowess in front
of goal cannot be doubted, as he netted against Yeovil at Huish Park in Southend’s 2-0
victory in April 2023. The forward was already familiar with Rhys Murphy, who he played
alongside for the Shrimpers. A consistent goalscorer throughout his career, the forward had
scored 113 goals across spells in the Football League, National League and the Scottish First
Division before he joined Yeovil.
10 Jordan Maguire-Drew - Born in Crawley, West Sussex, Maguire-Drew began his
football journey with Brighton & Hove Albion's youth team and had loan spells at Worthing,
