Dagenham & Redbridge, and Lincoln City. He later joined Leyton Orient, where he played a
key role in winning the National League and finishing as FA Trophy runners-up. After stints
at Crawley Town and Woking, he signed with Grimsby Town, helping them secure promotion
back to the Football League. In December 2022, he joined Yeovil Town on loan and later
made the move permanent, signing an 18-month contract.
11 Jordan Young - A versatile forward who is able to play across the forward line, Young
will be looking to pick up where he left off, having scored three goals in his final four games
for Chippenham. Starting his career with Swindon Town, Young is already familiar with
manager Mark Cooper, who was the first manager to name him in a professional match day
squad as a teenager. He scored his first Swindon goal later that season against Shrewsbury
Town at the County Ground.
14 Malachi Linton (currently on loan at Taunton Town) - Originally hailing from
Ipswich, the forward began his career in the Tractor Boys’ academy, before departing for
Crewe Alexandra to play for their U18’s side. He then spent time with Lowestoft Town,
scoring 13 goals in a short spell which caught the eye of Wycombe Wanderers. A short loan
spell with fellow Berkshire side Slough Town followed in the 2020/21 season before
venturing to the Linnets for his successful temporary spell in the National League. In his first
season in Somerset, Linton scored five goals including a stunner against Wrexham. Now on
loan with Taunton Town for the 2023/24 season.
15 Josh Owers - A well-known figure to Yeovil Town supporters, Owers initially joined the
club on loan in early 2023, featuring in matches against York City and Altrincham. Following
his loan spell, he made the move permanent in the summer of that year. During his career,
Owers has also gained experience on loan in the National League North and South,
representing Gloucester City and Bath City while on loan from his parent-club Bristol City.
16 Sonny Blu Lo-Everton - Lo-Everton began his football journey at Watford's academy
in 2011 and was recognized as one of the top talents in Premier League academies by The
Guardian's Next Generation 2019 list. He had loan spells at Wealdstone in the National
League, helping them retain their place in the fifth tier, and later joined Yeovil Town on loan
for the 2021-22 season. After a short stint at Derby County, he returned to Wealdstone on
loan and eventually signed for Yeovil Town in July 2023 after a successful trial.
17 Will Dawes - Yeovil Town secured the signing of the winger, who grew up in Somerset,
despite interest from other professional clubs. After completing his scholarship at
Cheltenham Town, Dawes gained crucial experience in men's football during his time with
Stratford Town for over two years. In 2023, he made a significant impact while on loan at
Oxford City, helping them secure promotion.
18 Alex Fisher - Fisher, who is well-known at Huish Park, previously spent 18 months at
Yeovil Town, scoring 14 goals in all competitions. After leaving Yeovil in 2019, he played for
two seasons at Exeter City before joining Newport County. The tall forward brought
extensive experience from playing in Spain, Italy, Belgium, and Scotland, along with making
115 appearances in the Football League. Unfortunately, Fisher's season was cut short by a
leg break during a match against Southend United, with a predicted return in early 2024.
20 Zachary Bell - In July, the Glovers signed Zachary Bell on loan until January 2024, with
the talented right-back joining the team. Before joining Yeovil, Bell had a loan spell at Bath
City, playing two games for them. Bell, a Welsh player, has already represented his country
in 10 appearances at various youth levels (U19, U18, and U15).
