UEFA Women’s Champions League

Both Chelsea and Arsenal went into this week’s round of
matches on the back of the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final a few
days earlier, and both faced tough home matches as they looked
to confirm their places in the quarter finals.
Chelsea were up first on Wednesday night against
Juventus and it turned out to be a frustrating 90 minutes as
they could not make the breakthrough against dogged
opponents. Despite recording 25 shots to Juve’s two, Joe
Montemurro’s side dug in to grind out a goalless draw which
means they stay in second place in the group. Sam Kerr had a goal disallowed for offside and Erin
Cuthbert saw a shot tipped onto the bar by
       Pauline Peyraud-Magnin but it was not to GROUP A P W D L F A Pts GD
