The Regional Leagues...
East Midlands League
Oughtibridge WM are the new leaders of the Premier Division following their 7-1 victory away
to Loughborough Students on Sunday. Millie Kenyon netted four times along with Laura
Cain, Kathryn Mudge and Lucy Ridley to take Oughtibridge to the summit on goal difference
from Mansfield Town, who drew 1-1 with Notts County, goals coming from Monica Bowley
and Charlotte Taylor respectively. Abigail Murrell scored five, with Lucy Farrow and Olivia Smith
adding the others, as Lincoln Utd defeated Rise Park 7-0 and Rotherham Utd went better
with an eleven goal blast at Leicester City Ladies, Helen Lynskey and Amy Pollock scoring five
and four respectively, with Harriet Houghton and Megan Cumberbatch accounting for the
others.
There was also a change of leadership in Division One South, where Derby County
Academy took over at the top with a 9-1 victory over Oadby & Wigston. Marli Rhodes-
Andrews scored a hat-trick along with Holly Otter (2), Rosie Hunt, Laura Monk, Chloe Phillips
and Kelsey Wragg. Samantha Redfern-Christie scored the only goal of the game as Kettering
Town won 1-0 against Loughborough Foxes Vixens and Aleksandra Wawrzycka and Zaiga
Lacite netted the goals for Coalville Town Ravenettes in their 2-2 draw with Peterborough
Utd Res, who responded through Aliyah Palmer and Amy Gore.
Eastern Region League
Premier Division leaders Wymondham Town shared a 1-1 draw with Luton Town, Laura
Nicholls scoring their goal and Olivia Abraham replying. Their advantage has been trimmed to
six points by Royston Town, who moved up into second as they edged out Bowers & Pitsea
by the odd goal in seven. Emma Slater hit a hat-trick for Royston, with Isabella Simmons also on
target. Katie Stancombe netted for St Ives Town in their 1-1 draw against third placed King's
Lynn Town, who replied through Ella Gavaghan, whilst Beatriz Kretteis bagged four goals and
Shakira Kafero Roberts a hat-trick as Haringey Borough defeated AFC Dunstable 9-1,
Lauren Duggan and Juliet Ramirez completing the scoring.
In Division One North, Annie Posnett scored twice and Grace Spencer the other for
Whittlesey Athletic in their 3-3 draw with Newmarket Town, who responded through Katie
Hayes (2) and Chloe Slater. Hannah Bodily hit a hat-trick and Tiana Walker was also on target
as Cambridge City Development won 4-2 away to Wootton Blue Cross Lionesses.
Leigh Ramblers have a lead of two points at the top of Division One South after a
Rebecca Dalgarno hat-trick, Paige White and Chloe Woolaway gave them a 5-1 win away to East
Bergholt Utd. Jessica Allen, Isabella Crawford, Eboni-Mae Shepherd and Luiza Ferdinand Da
Silva were the markswomen for AFC Sudbury as they defeated Wodson Park 4-0 and third
placed Herts Vipers Women edged out Barking 4-3 thanks to a Rachel Wall double, Sarah
Payne and Rebecca Edge.
Biggleswade Utd have progressed into the Second Round of the League Cup following
a 5-3 extra time victory over Billericay Town Development. Charlene Moreton netted twice
for Biggleswade along with Kayleigh Gray, Rianne Townsend-Brown and Tashai Simms.
London & South East League
Dartford have gone level on points with leaders Ashford Town (Middlesex) following their
4-2 victory away to Worthing FC Women. Emily Vaughan was on target twice for the Darts
along with Alicia Gibbs and Elizabeth Adams. New London Lionesses are two points adrift in
third after they defeated Saltdean Utd 2-1, Kiz Fergus and Jess Wadey scoring their goals.
Georgia Heasman and Helen Ogle both hit hat-tricks as Fulham FC Women stormed to a 9-1
victory against Millwall Lionesses. Katie Foster weighed in with a brace and Oana-Elena
Negrea was also on the scoresheet. Whyteleafe meanwhile picked up an important 4-1 success
over Denham Utd in which Marina Sanchez netted twice alongside Ellie Pace and Megan
Smith.
The rest of the action in the league came in the League Cup and on a good day for visiting
teams, Welling Utd edged past Herne Bay with a 3-2 extra time victory. Grace Laverick was
