whilst Henna Butcher and Myca Cuenca were on target for Union, who were further boosted as
Sophie Price made her return after a year out through injury. Frampton Rangers held on to
second place by defeating Weston-super-Mare 4-0, Lucie Hulin scoring twice with Amber
Day and Kirsten Prior also on the scoresheet. Almondsbury kept up their recent good form
with a 4-0 success away to Downend Flyers, Amy Jefferies bagging a brace along with Zoe
Youren and an own goal. Olivia Goozee, Hannah Pugh and Amy Street were the markswomen for
Oldland Abbotonians in their 3-1 victory at Weston Mendip, whose consolation came from
Kelly Jones.
Keynsham Town Res extended their lead in the Eastern Division to six points on
Friday night when they won 3-2 against Chipping Sodbury Town. Charlotte Morrison, Vicky
Vipond and Fleur Jenkins all scored for Keynsham, with Sophie Kelly and Izzie Smart replying.
On Sunday, Warminster Town and Paulton Rovers finished level at 2-2. Mia Blazey and
Shannon Redhouse were on target for Warminster, whilst Paulton's goals came from Tracey
Rouemaine and Enya Wilkinson.
In the Western Division, Saltash Utd broke their duck at the eighth attempt with their
first league victory of the season, 4-0 against Liverton Utd. Nicola Champion scored twice for
the Ashes, whose other strikes came from Dee Newman and Hayley Ranachan.
Southern Region League
Leaders Moneyfields were held to a 1-1 draw by Abingdon Town on Sunday, Emma Eldridge
scoring their goal whilst Chloe Ball was on target for Town. The main beneficiaries were Town's
local rivals Abingdon Utd, who trimmed the Moneys' lead to two points with a 9-0 victory over
Woodley Utd. Lauren May hit a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Nell Boxall,
Beth Chapman, Megan Crawford, Molly Lygo-Jackson, Abbie Smith and Lindsay Pinker.
Gabrielle Ewing and Catherine Browning each netted twice for Eastleigh in their 4-0 success at
Ascot Utd and Wycombe Wanderers defeated Winchester City Flyers 2-1 thanks to
Sarah Harrison and Chante Inniss.
AFC Bournemouth Development now head Division One by three points after they
beat Woking Ladies 9-3. Hannah Hughes was on target four times along with Catherine Todd
(2), Hannah Francis, Grace Morgan and Charlotte Eastman. Bournemouth Sports are up to
second following their 7-1 win away to Milton Utd, given to them by Liane Folkenstern,
Charlotte Taylor, Sian Tilly, Justine Mosley, Rebecca Knapton, Rosie Eden and an own goal. Jade
Hockey (2) and Dominique Carrington accounted for the goals as New Milton Town inflicted
a first defeat on Chichester City, beating them 3-1, and Abbey Rangers won for the first time,
2-1 against Eversley & California with both goals from Heather Heade.
West Midlands League
With Stourbridge not playing on Sunday, Sutton Coldfield Town have replaced them as
Premier Division leaders after finishing level at 2-2 with Lichfield City. Niamh Deasy and
Sophie Levick scored for Sutton, whilst Lichfield replied through Nadia Bacciochi and Donna
Millward. Crusaders pushed into third after Danielle Keegan and Lauren Mellor gave them a
2-1 victory over City of Stoke. Olivia Woolston hit a hat-trick for Tamworth as they won 5-2
away to Kidderminster Harriers. Annie Barnes and Grace Dickens added the Lambs' other
goals, with Charlie Whitehouse netting twice in reply. Jessica Sevellec meanwhile scored for
Coundon Court in their 1-1 draw against Coventry Sphinx.
In Division One North, Sandwell Ladies climbed into the top half on the back of a 2-1
victory away to Walsall Ladies, given to them by Phoebe Hopwood and Rachel Green. Walsall
Wood meanwhile beat Port Vale 5-1 with goals from Tayler Davies (2), Rosie Hargreaves (2)
and Natasha Baptiste.
Naomi Melbourne and Angel Scandrett scored the goals as Division One South leaders
Solihull Sporting won 2-1 away to Knowle. They stay three points clear of Leamington
Lions, who beat Sedgley & Gornal Utd 3-0 with goals from Sophie Jordan, Bonnie Mountford
and Kiran Sangha, whilst third placed Kingfisher defeated Westfields Women 3-1 thanks to
Katie Edwards (2) and Molly Gilmartin. Beth Roberts was on target for Droitwich Spa as they
shared a 1-1 draw with Cookley Sports.
