One match went ahead in the top flight on its resumption on Sunday, a crucial meeting
between two teams with an eye on fourth place.
Pontypridd Utd played host to The New Saints and it was the visitors who were to
run out 4-0 winners, a result which takes TNS above the Dragons in the table and into that
       fourth spot.
Helen Evans got TNS off to a great start, giving them the lead midway through the
second half and three minutes later, Emily Ridge made it two. Danielle Staley then put her
side firmly in control as she scored a third just ahead of half time. Bethan Lewis completed a
great day for TNS when she added the final goal from the penalty spot with twenty minutes
       remaining.
In the North Division, Connah’s Quay Nomads narrowed the gap on leaders
Wrexham to two points when they defeated CPDM Y Felinheli 4-0. Ella Harvey headed
the Nomads in front ten minutes before half time and another corner led to them doubling
their lead early in the second half, Aimee Hopkinson scoring. Kylie Jones made it three and
Polly Wild-McGregor rounded off the scoring in injury time.
It was a similar story in the South Division where there was also one game played and
this one also produced a 4-0 scoreline. The two teams who started the day level on points met
each other at Ystrad Mynach and it was Briton Ferry Llansawel who preserved their
100% record with victory against home side Cascade YC. Lowri Baker put Ferry in front on
the stroke of half time and Megan Kearle made it two early in the second half. Jess
Denscombe increased their advantage with eleven minutes remaining and Kearle put the seal
on the win when she scored her second
